  • Кой? (Koy?) (koy): Who? (masculine singular)
  • Коя? (Ko-YA?) (koh-YAH): Who? (feminine singular) / Which? (feminine singular)

Forming Yes/No Questions with "ли"

Grammar Tip

To turn a statement into a yes/no question, you often add the particle "ли" (li) after the verb or the word being questioned. Example: "Ти си добре." (You are fine.) becomes "Ти добре ли си?" (Are you fine?). Intonation also rises at the end.
